From the French Camp Vineyard in the Paso Robles Highlands District, Optik Valdiguié thrives in a dramatic setting at the base of Black Mountain, where hot days and cool nights create bold yet balanced wines. With sandy, low-vigor soils and a nearly 50-degree diurnal shift, this vineyard preserves freshness while allowing full fruit maturity. Each vintage highlights the variety’s expressive fruit and floral character, delivering wines that are both vibrant and complex, with a balance of juicy red fruit, spice, and refined structure.
