The Story
Napa’s first mill keepers of the mid 1800’s, who laid the foundation for the producers of today. The hard work of these culturally diverse men and women and their dedication to the land transformed the Napa Valley into a thriving, prosperous community. The Mill Keeper Brand is an homage to their pioneering spirit and the Gamble Family’s desire to bring the virtues of their dedication and the resulting agrarian bounty of Napa to consumers in the United States and globally.
About The Mill Keeper
Producer Story
Founded by Tom Gamble—a farmer whose family legacy in the Napa Valley dates back more than a century, The Mill Keeper prioritizes sourcing from generational vineyards with sustainable land management programs. The Mill Keeper is a proud sponsor of Napa’s State Historic Park, Bale Grist Mill, which served as part of the early inspiration for the brand.
Their focus is to produce wine from an environmentally conscious winery and from vineyards with sustainable land management programs. Wanting to go a step further, The Mill Keeper is a proud sponsor of the National Parks Conservation Association. More than a century ago, visionaries with a passion for America’s national parks saw the need for a strong, independent voice speaking out on their behalf.
