The Story

This is a traditional Northern Rhône Valley styled blend of Marsanne and Roussanne grapes made using the techniques that collaborateur François Villard uses for his Domaine wines in France.

Meaning “Grapes of Gold” – is a white blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, Picpoul Blanc and Viognier. . Each grape adds to the overall complexity and delivers something important to the final wine. The goal is a white wine that echoes the characters of the great Rhône Valley whites but is distinctly California in nature. We prize great depth along with crispness and a refreshing character in our wines.
55% Roussane,, 16% Viognier, 15.6% Marsanne, 13.4% Picpoul

About Terminim

Producer Story

Terminim was born from an unlikely friendship between François Villard — celebrated Northern Rhône vigneron — and Donald Patz, California winemaker known for Patz & Hall. In 2017, the two visited Alder Springs Vineyard in Mendocino County, a high-elevation site at 2,000–3,000 feet, and recognized its potential for Rhône varieties. What started with a handshake and a few tons of Marsanne has grown into a focused transatlantic collaboration.
