The Story

At Matsu, we have always told the story of a family deeply connected to the land and to time, where each wine represents a stage in life. With La Moza, this story gains a new chapter that symbolises youth, first steps, and the energy of those who begin to forge their own path.

Born in Toro, La Moza revives the region’s white wine tradition through a contemporary lens: a fresh, aromatic and approachable white, designed for enjoyment. Its production brings together mainly young vineyards with a touch of old vines, two different vintages and two complementary winemaking approaches, resulting in a balanced and vibrant wine that joins the family alongside El Pícaro, El Recio, El Viejo and La Jefa.

About Matsu

Producer Story

Understanding the pace and process followed by nature, knowing how to wait for it to evolve without excessive intervention and settling for simplicity is something that the winegrowers in the D. O. Toro have been doing for years to create their wines. From this philosophy emerged the Matsu collection, a word that in Japanese means "wait" and perfectly summarizes what these wines are.
