Philosophy

Vibrant in color, aromatic, and fine in texture, these wines capture pure fruit flavors, enhancing seasonal dishes. Each bottle reflects our bond with the land, blending elegance with flavors crafted for the wild.

Biography

Matt Harrop is an acclaimed Australian winemaker who joined Fowles in 2024 as Chief Winemaker. With a Bachelor of Applied Science in Oenology from Roseworthy College, Matt has worked at renowned wineries such as Curly Flat, Brokenwood, and Shadowfax. His experience spans across Australia and New Zealand, crafting celebrated wines, particularly Pinot Noir. He also holds influential roles in the wine industry, chairing the National Wine Show and previously the Melbourne Wine Show.
