Pinino

Pinino’s roots go back to 1874, when lawyer and Brunello pioneer Tito Costanti established the estate in the heart of Montalcino. Over time, Pinino became one of the original members of the Brunello Consortium, cementing its legacy as a key player in the region’s winemaking heritage.
Fast forward to 2003, when two families—one Austrian, one Spanish—joined forces to elevate the winery’s quality and profile. Their shared passion for excellence helped define the modern identity of Pinino.
In 2024, Pinino entered an exciting new chapter under the Ferragamo family, becoming part of the prestigious Il Borro Toscana portfolio. This move reflects a continued commitment to terroir-driven wines and timeless elegance.
Today, with vineyards spanning two prized zones of Montalcino—including the famed Montosoli slope—Pinino crafts refined, age-worthy expressions of Sangiovese Grosso. The focus is simple: meticulous vineyard care, thoughtful winemaking, and a deep respect for tradition. The result? Wines that tell the story of place with grace, structure, and unmistakable character.
