Winemaking During the harvest, a double sorting is carried out on the bunches and individual grapes. 100% micro-vinification in new oak barrels. 7 to 10 day pre-fermentation maceration. Long post-fermentation maceration. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in barrels, as is the aging.

The Story
The Chateau Le Gay vineyard covers 10.5 hectares in one piece. The vines, 40 years old on average, are planted in the exceptional clay-gravelly soils for which the Pomerol appellation is famous.
