Winemaking Hand picked October 1st, I wild fermented in open top bins with 1/3 whole clusters. Natural malolactic fermentation occurred in four French Oak barrels. Unfined/filtered, with minimal sulfites.

The Story
Perched high above Corralitos on the ocean facing side of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Deer Ridge Trail is farmed organically and produces an incredible expression of coastal Pinot Noir. 2024 marked my fourth vintage here, and I was lucky to source Mount Eden, Wadenswil and Pommard clones from both upper and lower blocks of this foresty, five acre site.
