The Story
100% Viognier fermented in stainless steel
Les Champauvins stretches on 34 hectares classified in Côtes du Rhône. The plot is on the northern border of Châteauneuf du Pape, exactly 3 meters outside the appellation. A small lane of rocks going through the rocky plateau was decided to be the AOC limit in 1936. Here, the soil is made of red clay and rocks (pebbled stones of quartz). Viognier grown on select sandy parcels within Les Champauvins.
