CRŪ Winery's winemaker, Jose Reyes, hand selects prestigious vineyards such as Bien Nacido, French Camp, Regan, Smith & Lindley, Sierra Madre and Solomon Hills to craft CRŪ Winery’s single vineyard wines.

With a focus on Burgundian and Rhone varietals such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and GSM, CRŪ produces wines that are critically acclaimed and perfect for both special occasions and quality everyday drinking. CRŪ Winery has two tasting rooms conveniently located in California’s Monterey County and Central Valley.

Biography

CRŪ Winemaker Jose Reyes has been an essential member of the CRŪ Winery team since 2009.
Originally from Sinaloa, Mexico and then California’s Central Coast, Jose began making wine 30 years ago under the direction of the winemaking team at the historical Bargetto Winery in Santa Cruz, California.

Jose strives to allow the grapes to express themselves without too much intervention. He crafts wines that consistently receive 90+ point scores and are worthy of both special occasions and everyday drinking.
