The Character
Tasting Notes The 2023 vintage started near the historical averages for the first time in many years. After a pleasant start and nice May and June rains. the season remained mostly dry and quite warm until early September. The wine is classic Pinot - red fruited and a dense mineral undertone on the nose of the wine is followed on the palate with ripe strawberry, cherry compote and an earthy forest floor savory character.
