In wine, the most compelling expressions are those where place truly speaks, and this singular pairing, found nowhere else in the world, underscores the significance of its origin. Rich and bold yet remarkably weightless, the wine’s seamless balance promises graceful aging—though resisting the temptation to enjoy it young may prove the greater challenge.
Selling Point Unique, bold but balanced, stage wine.
Pairings Roasted red meat, hard cheese, fondue, pasta with a tomato based sauce.
Sustainability Green Practicing, Sustainable In Practice, Minimal Intervention / Augmentation

The Story

A uncommon blend that reminds us how much of a driving force Place is in making the best wines the world over. From the high plateau of central Mexico, whose soils and climate are more like Rioja than anywhere else on the planet (despite having a much higher elevation), comes this unique blend that weds finesse and power. Unlike much of what is being labeled as Nebbiolo in Mexico but is actually Moretto, this is actually a Piedmont clone of Nebbiolo with a central Italian stain of Sangiovese, and in this micro climate the two just sing with one another. If two grapes could dance, this is what it would taste like.
