The Story

From 30-year-old vines in Isla de Maipo, De Martino’s Alto de Piedras Carménère 2022 captures the elegance and spice of this classic Chilean grape. Hand-harvested and wild fermented, it was aged briefly in used barrels, then matured for 17 months in a large foudre to preserve purity. The result is a medium-bodied red with floral aromatics, silky tannins, and a savory, peppery finish—a standout expression from Chile’s pioneering Carmenère specialists.
