The Story

Vigno is De Martino’s flagship old-vine Carignan from La Aguada vineyard in Maule’s Sauzal subregion. Grown in granite soils under a Mediterranean climate, this field blend (85% Carignan, 15% other red varieties) is hand-harvested and wild-fermented, aged 10 months in neutral barrels and another 10 in foudre. It’s bold, structured, and mineral, with deep black fruit, herbaceous lift, and fine-grained tannins—a serious red built to age and a benchmark for Carignan in Chile.
