The Character

Overall deep brooding dark red fruits and balanced acidity.
Aromas black cherry, black currant, cedar , baking spices.
Mouthfeel Full bodied but with all the structure to make it float
Tasting Notes From one on the most consistently quality and approachable wineries from Valle de Guadalupe, this is a delightful Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from hand-picked estate grown organically farmed fruit. The wine always gets 12 months of aging in French oak and at least a year of aging in the bottle before release, so it’s general ready to go as soon as it hits the shelves but it will reward anyone with the patience to age it. The 2022 vintage repeated the pattern of heat strokes witnessed in the previous vintage, which again caused the destruction of many grapes, but with an even tighter selection came an even higher quality. It’s growers like this that give reason to get excited about Mexican wines, where a dedication to quality overrides desire for quantity.
Selling Point bold but elegant, muscular but finessed.
Pairings Grilled red meats, aged cheeses, black pepper, rosemary.

The Story

A varietal Cabernet Sauvignon from the organically farmed estate vines of Corona del Valle. This estate's focus is varietal wines and with good reason - each grape delivers a full and balanced wine without the need for blending. This is on full display with their Cabernet Sauvignon which is packed with mature fruit that maintained elegantly balanced acidity right until harvest.
