The Story
Treinspoor is Eben Sadie’s expression of old-vine Tinta Barocca from Malmesbury, planted beside a historic railway line. The vineyard’s bush vines protect delicate skins from Swartland’s sun. Fermented with 50% whole clusters and aged in neutral conical casks, the wine is dark, textural, and tightly wound. With Syrah-like aromatics and Nebbiolo-like grip, Treinspoor is complex, cellarworthy, and full of site-driven expression.
