The Story

Rotsbank is a site-specific Chenin Blanc from decomposed granite soils in the Paardeberg, Swartland. Grapes are whole bunch pressed, cold-settled, and naturally fermented in old foudre, where the wine rests on lees for 12 months. Bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur, it’s one of Sadie’s most linear, mineral-driven whites—tight and precise with flinty aromatics, deep acidity, and exceptional aging potential. A “blue steel” Chenin built for purity and longevity.
